Allah the Almighty has enjoined upon His slaves five ritual prayers spread throughout the day at certain times of day and night to allow it to enter into communion with Him. These prayers are a reflection of spiritual nourishment and precisely controlled with a purifying virtue proved. According to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), "The effect of the five prayers is similar to the effect of abundant fresh water river located just outside the house of any of you who are not washed five times in the day. We present below the prayer times around the world and in all regions of Senegal. These times mark the beginning of daylight saving time (al mukhtar) allotted for each prayer. A tolerance of 2 to 3 minutes could be observed to be within the legal range.
The fulfillment of the prayer is to set a timetable prescribed by the Quran and Sunnah. It says in the Qur'an: "The Salaat remains, for believers, a prescription at fixed hours (verse 103 of Sura 4 - An-Nisa).
